Sense of Colorado started out of a desire to share a love and appreciation for the riches of Colorado. From working the soil into a productive vegetable garden to viewing the horizon from a mountain peak, there are so many things that make our lives richer. Perhaps the only thing greater than experiencing these gifts is sharing them with those around us.
In 2008, Sense of Colorado partnered with several Denver-area residents to produce a crop of vegetables to share and enjoy. Our initial season was a huge success and we produced vegetables from 5 yards and distributed those vegetables to approximately 20 members.
In 2009, the garden bug hit Denver and we expanded to 16 gardens concentrated in two Denver neighborhoods (Washington Park and Krisana Park) and CSA 40 members.
