Our CSA members share our vision of a local, sustainable, humane, and vibrant agriculture. CSA stands for community supported agriculture. Members agree to share in the risks, rewards, and vagaries of a diversified farming operation. At the beginning of the season, CSA farmer sells weekly shares of our anticipated harvest. As the season unfolds, a bountiful harvest means members will receive larger weekly shares; a meager harvest, be it due to bad weather, pests, or plant disease, means the reverse. In the CSA model, the farmer gets paid for his or her efforts whether the outcome is fruitful or not. Our CSA encourages member participation in the farming process, including the harvest and distribution of the weekly food packages.
Memberships are available for the 2010 growing season. Drop us a note if you’d like more information.
